Try this pumpkin paper plate craft with your preschooler for some easy fun, and fine motor skills development!

One of my favorite things to do with my preschooler is present him with the shapes and materials I used to make a craft, and show him my completed piece.

He’s at an age where he’s interested in recreating my art, with his own twist of course!

It’s interesting to watch his tiny hands work, as he figures out where each shape belongs. I can see him working on his fine motor skills, artistic expression, hand-eye coordination, recognizing patterns, and so much more!

It’s why I love play-based learning so much. You can learn so much through art and play.
