Gingerbread Man Lacing Fine Motor Activity
This gingerbread man lacing activity is a great preschool fine motor activity, especially during the Winter season. Download and print your free lacing printable today to work on your child’s fine motor development.
Fine motor activities are not just for babies and toddlers! This activity will help your preschooler work on their fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, and more.
The concentration my son displays while doing these is really remarkable. It’s a tedious job for little fingers, and it can be a bit frustrating for him at times. But with breaks and encouragement, he usually makes it almost all the way around.
The good thing about these printable lacing activities (like my Autumn leaf lacing) is that they’re pretty customizable. You can punch as many holes in the edges as you like! You can even write numbers on different ones to make it more challenging as they grow.

Gingerbread Man Lacing Fine Motor Activity for Preschoolers
At this point, I punch a lot of holes for my son to weave the yarn through. When my toddler starts doing these, I’ll reprint them and punch about half as many, so she doesn’t get overwhelmed or easily frustrated.
